What are your goals in life?

Post by selfer »

Tony Robbins says less than 10 percent of Americans have their goals written down somewhere. Defining those goals, he says, is the first step in achieving them.

Here's your chance to write your goals in stone and revisit them someday. Just writing down your goals might bring you closer to them. Thanks!

1. Find a job that doesn't suck (I've given up on finding a good/dream job)
2. Move away from Texas
3. Travel more

That's pretty much it for me.

1) Provide a better life for my son than I had as a kid
2) See as much of the world as I can.
3) Enjoy life

Those are my overall goals. I set yearly goals which I do write down and review when the year ends as well. The yearly goals are more a subset to the basic general life goals above.

The first goal is to have a family - a husband and kids
Then i'd like to buy a house in California. It's my dream
The last but not the least - enjoy life!

1) To become mentally independent.
As in, to not be chasing a desire, to not be judging myself based upon other's standards, and to not have deep concerns for the amount of money I make, or my position in society. (this is perhaps the hardest goal I think anyone can possibly set for themselves).

2) To become mentally capable.
As in, to cultivate such talents as wisdom, articulation (both verbal and written), integrity, courage, quick-witted, and deep-witted. I believe that once one reaches a certain level of wisdom, he can just do away with philosophy, because philosophy is searching for the deeper meaning behind things, but wisdom is knowing the deeper value and methodology of things. So in essence, this goal is to become wise, and to have the ability to implement that wisdom in my daily character.

3) Friendship.
Does this really need a long explanation?
