Commas and grammar

Anyone else tired of getting points taken off for use/non-use of commas in their reviews? It feels so hypocritical that I'll get points taken off for how I use commas, but in the review guidelines it states that we as reviewers SHOULDN'T mark commas as typos since it is up to the writer's style with how they use it. It is so annoying and off-putting that I feel like this issue will make me leave this site. I hate having to redo the entire review again because of it.
