What do you do while exercising?

I think exercising is very good for the body. My favorite kind of exercising is walking. While walking outdoors I started to enjoy listening to my audible. When I use the treadmill in the house sometimes I will read while walking the treadmill. What do you like to do while exercising? Listen to music, read a book on an exercise equipment?

I think I'm the only one who doesn't exercise. I'm also probably the laziest person in the world. I prefer my couch, my book, and my dark chocolate :)

I sometimes go jogging to keep in shape. While I'm at it, I like talking to my husband. He goes jogging with me. We talk about everything: food, clothes, work, The Bible, classmates, etc.

I miss jogging, I'm hoping to get back into it again. I probably won't listen to audible though would have to listen to music for that

I listen to the radio mostly. But I found out an app called ZombieRun that makes jogging sort of like an interactive game. I recommend checking it out!

It varies.

First thing in the morning, I walk around the neighborhood (about 1 1/4 miles) weather permitting. It weather is not permitting, I get on our recumbent exercise bike and ride for 20-25 minutes. While I am doing this, I am praying.

In the evenings I usually ride the recumbent exercise bike. I watch TV when I do that.

Once a week when the weather is good, our local running club has an open run at a park in town. I will run/walk 2 miles. I am concentrating on my running/walking then. I usually run for 50 seconds and walk for a 1:10 and continue to repeat that cycle.

I run/walk 5k's about 10-12 times a year...on Saturday mornings. I usually run for 45 seconds and walk for 1:15 in those. I am focused on run/walking so I am not listening to music or using any type of ear buds.

When I am run/walking, I do notice the people and scenery around me. Just because I am focused on run/walking does not mean I have blinders on.

The only exercising I do is walking outside when it's nice outside and I'll listen to music if I'm alone or walk with my husband. Otherwise, I use the treadmill in our basement and read while I walk 3 miles.

I go running in the morning and listen to music while I do that. When I work out I listen to audiobooks or music or watch some youtube or shows.

I don't know how people can concentrate on audio books while exercising cause it's so difficult to focus on the workout and the Audio.
