This holiday is approaching and we all need some gifts for our family. Have you already chosen the presents? If it's a big secret, what is it? Share please.

christmas this year is super tricky....i have a boyfriend who already own everything and he makes it impossible to shop for him...the only things he wants are crazy expensive! like an iphone...and besides who gets an iphone for christmas? that isnt very romantic!

i wish everyone was as easy to shop for as i am!

I've never bought a Christmas present. I am not really a Scrooge or anything. I guess it is just that me, my brothers, and my cousins have never really felt the need to give gifts to each other or to the older generations. We still have a nice Christmas.

I think also that when you are younger the right gift means the world to you, but once you get older, get a job and end up paying hundreds or thousands of dollars in bills, a $20 gift begins to have no value, and you are left trying to come up with creative ways to say thank you for a gift you are just going to toss in the garbage or send off to Goodwill.

I have to admit I hate buying or receiving gifts which will prob end up in a drawer somewhere. Me and my family tend to just tell each other what we want so im looking forward to getting my gifts as its stuff that I would have brought myself anyway. I swap gifts with a couple of girlfriends and we always end up buying eachother toiletries or some such crap.

I loved that about my husband's family. Everyone makes a list every year and then we all purchase gifts off the lists so that everyone is happy with what they get. I agree. I'd rather have something that I want than get something that I shove in the back of a closet and never use. It's just wasteful and the money would be better spent giving it to a charity or something (which I've actually asked for and gotten one year)!

I haven't started my shopping yet. I really only need to buy three gifts this year which I'm glad for. I hate shopping!
