Reviewing a “Sample” - how hash should I be?

I’m brand new to the community and I selected my first book for review. I selected it because the description interested me, and indeed I enjoyed the story. However, the PDF that was available for review was just a sample (the first 6 out of 15 chapters).
In doing a bit of reconnaissance, it appears the full book is available for purchase on Amazon. This is significant because the sample I read is in desperate need of editing, but I do not have a way of finding out if what I read is what is actually published.
I don’t want to write a review claiming the book is full of errors if they were corrected before it went to print. How do I proceed in this case?
