Paid Internships at OnlineBookClub ($5 per hour to start)
I hope you are doing great.
Normally, internships are unpaid.
However, I feel that can exclude the very people who would benefit most from it.
So I am currently offering paid internships. The pay is $5 per hour to start.
The work can be done entirely online, from your home or from wherever you prefer to work. In other words, no traveling, commuting, or relocating is required. This position is open to people all over the world, anywhere PayPal is accepted. Payment is made via PayPal.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 21 days into my free mentoring program
- You will need access to a laptop, desktop computer, or other device with a full keyboard during your work hours. The job cannot be done from a mobile phone.
- You must have already read and reviewed my book, In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All.
- You must be willing to appear on video privately (e.g. via Zoom or other video call) for job-related meetings and coaching sessions. That would be on-the-clock at your regular hourly rate ($5+ per hour). Before being hired, you may also be required to do a quick interview via a video call. On the interview video call, I will ask you about books you read (including In It Together), and compare your answers to both (1) the book, and (2) your review of the book. If I read a review and then talk to the person who wrote the review for even just a minute about the book, I can generally tell if they wrote the review because it won't match the vernacular, tone, and expressed opinions/thoughts. Moreover, it's very easy to tell whether someone actually read the book when communicating with them for even just a couple minutes about it, where I can ask specific questions about the book and their thoughts about specific things in the book.
How to apply:
If you are interested in a paid internship, simply reply to the latest automatic check-in email you were sent through the mentoring program with your Instagram handle (so that I can verify you have been doing the daily tasks).
If you haven't been receiving a mentoring check-in email at least once per week, then you are not enrolled in the program and can instead click here to sign up for the free mentoring program.
If you have any questions about this, simply reply to the latest email you were sent via the free mentoring program.
Thank you,
Scott
