hi
I feel love at 1st sight is just an attraction but its not true love.Coz love at 1st sight can be only for beauty and not abt the nature. And this relation will never last long coz u have not yet known nature, understanding and persons feeling. So i feel a person whld never be involved in it.Its better to be friends and after you know you can go ahead or the life is misserable.

I agree I believe it is infatuation at first sight. I think love is much more complicated and takes time to truly develop.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I have never used that phrase, as I have never believed in it. You can't love someone you don't know or just happen to catch a glimspe of in a moment.

That's so true, I never thought of it like that! Well, the first time I saw this guy Ross, I thought he was cute. To this day, almost a whole year later I'm completely falling for him. I love him with all my heart! <3

I believe the saying is wrong because what you feel is attraction, not love. The difference is attraction is a purely physical reaction. Love is both physical and emotional.

Can you honestly say that you would jump in front of a gun for someone you know nothing about except for the fact that you enjoy staring at them because you think they're hot?

I disagree - it's exactly the same as a mother and her newborn baby. She loves that baby despite knowing absolutely nothing about it, its personality, interests, temprament, likes or dislikes and yet she would risk everything for that baby - would you deny that what she feels is love at first sight?
IMO it can happen in exactly the same way between people although I will admit love at first sight is an extremly rare occurance and when it happens can be both a blessing and a curse.
