Ive just watched Paranormal Activity and i gotta admit, its right up there, whats yours?

The Grudge

Theres a few that have creeped me out. One was The Changeling.

One that stayed with me for a long time and I had nightmares over was one I saw in a theater when I was around 12 or so. Unknown Island was the name of it, about some people who went to an island with dinosaurs. It came out in 1949 or 50 and I found it on video not long ago and even with the hokey special effects its still kind of creepy.

The Conjuring!! New movie, such a good plot line. It's one of those movies where you can't say to yourself
"Oh, well that only happened in a particular house in Amityville so i'll be fine." (Referring to Amityville horror of course)
This movie will leave with you once leaving the cinema. If you own any second hand gear you might get home and say to yourself "Is this haunted? Will I see spirits?" And that's what I personally love about horror movies, when they come home with you!

The exorcist is the scariest movie i have seen
other scary movies:

Ginger snaps, 1, 2, 3 (2 & 3 are scarier)
Dead silence
Jaws (loll)
Wolf creek
Halloween collection
Dog soldiers is my favorite horror movie.

The puppetmaster it really creeps me out

Jaws, the exorcist, psycho, rosemary's baby...

Black Sabbath with Boris Karloff was creepy, the stuff of nightmares. Also the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the 1954 version, not the dumb remakes.

Silent Hill (both of them - I loved the 2nd one)
The Grudge (the first one was scarier than the rest I think)

The Killing Fields ....... without doubt the most frightening movie I have ever watched

Gory too, if i recall correctly...

That was an epic movie and pretty much the truth.

I remember one movie I saw in about 1962 called Homicidal. It was kind of a knock-off of Psycho but had some pretty scary punch lines.

I don't watch scary movies, the news is quite enough for me thank you...but my kids as teens watched "The Hills Have Eyes" and had nightmares for months.

I would say "Forget Me Not "is the scariest movie that I've seen , but it's a movie that you can only watch once. Because you know what's going to happen when you see it the 2 time around and then it's just not as good.

I watched Insidious Chapter two in theatres and I had ny eyes closed throughout the entire movie because I was afraid of jumping and making the guy behind me laugh (he just wouldn't shut up about me jumping. ). I don't know if I would say it was the scariest but with the theatre sound screaming and bumping in ny ears, I was definitely scared. I don't usually get scared of movies but I don't ever want to watch it again.
