Amazon/Audible Reviews Being Rejected For No Reason

Post by Riziki Kambi »

(A carbon copy of this has also been sent to the support team and forums, but I figured it would be great if many more people (and possibly, hopefully) moderators would see the issue and whatever response the users or management give about it.)
I bought a book in Audible format and reviewed it. It was checked and published (thanks for the efficient process), but now the problem starts at Audible review verification. A moderator (or moderators) has constantly rejected the Audible reviews, now for the fourth time, with the only comments being "the link leads to the reviewer's page (my listener profile on Audible)." What the hell is wrong with that? This has been a very frustrating and infuriating experience.
I always choose to leave my listener profile because:

1) Unlike Amazon, Audible has no direct link to individual reviews. The only option is to post the link to the audiobook with the reviews listed at the bottom. This is disadvantageous because a) there are so many reviews to go through if many people have reviewed the book which would make it difficult to find that one specific review through all the chaff and b) Audible filters out some reviews based on which ones are most relevant and which ones are the most recent, which makes it even more difficult to find a specific review. Here's a random example of a direct link to an Amazon review, which Audible simply doesn't have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-revi ... CMYUDF44C1. Here's a link to an Audible book https://www.audible.com/pd/Cynthia-and- ... B01INLEEX6. Notice that there's no permalink to any of the Audible reviews and the reviews are not clickable to lead you to the individual review, which means there's no specific link for specific reviews.

2) A listener profile has all the reviews by a listener listed there, which makes it easy to see all reviews by that specific listener/reviewer. It has the book title, full review, and listener's display name. I think this should be a more efficient method of proving the review was left but sadly not for you guys because you've rejected the link about the fourth time now giving the same explanation (the link leads to the reviewer's page). Apart from the fact that the page sometimes shows as anonymous, which reloading usually helps bring back the display name, I see absolutely no sense in this explanation.

3) There's no way you can leave an Audible review without a) buying the Audiobook, b) listening to the Audiobook to the end, and c) spending at least $50 on Amazon, which means it won't even be posted on your listener profile if those conditions aren't met.

4) The link to an Audiobook will be the same across multiple users or reviewers, which I'm afraid will lead to me being banned for using the same link as another user or being flagged as a duplicate account for using the same Audiobook link that another user will have already used. Only the link to an individual listener profile is unique and personal.

This is my listener's profile, and I'd appreciate an explanation of why this has always been rejected: https://www.audible.com/listener/amzn1. ... RWHJBW2WKA
If there's a problem, it would be great to know which one it is so that I submit the links correctly next time
