I've been a long time fan. I was introduced to the series by my father when Tom Baker was the Doctor and have loved the series ever since.

So who's you're favorite Who?

I watched it several times, but can't say I'm a big fan of it, in fact I prefer some comedies like the Scrabs, not serious, but funny

Yeah, Tennant was a great Doctor and Matt Smith is filling his shoes quiet well. I think I agree Tennant is probably my favorite as well.

I love Doctor Who! I'm so excited for Peter Capaldi, I think he's going to be brilliant. Any thoughts on what his catchphrase is going to be? As for my favorite doctor, I really love Eccleston. He was my first doctor, and they say you never forget your first. ;P

Then come along Pond! :D
So glad to meet another Whovian! I was hoping that someone else would come along and help me revive the thread, yay! So, thoughts on Capaldi? Where are you in the series?

Yay! I'm up to date (sadly). I can never ever ever ever ever ever ever watch that Christmas special again. I thought I was over the Tennant feels, then Raggedy Man left and revived them.
You might have already noticed this, but I rewatched Day Of The Doctor after Matt's farewell, and remember his quote? "I'm going home the long way 'round." Moffat was hinting.
Trenzalore could be considered his 'home' as it's where his grave was. And the Doctor lived his life 'the long way' as he calls it. Gods Moffat is cruel.
And Capaldi? I'm going to have a grudge against him for a little while, but I'm sure we'll end up being great friends.

Yeah, now it's just more waiting, ugh. Oh my god, the Christmas special, I am still not over it. No. Ye gads, you're right! I never even thought of that. That makes so much sense. Trust Moffat. Awesome you, picking that up, I never seem to catch things like that.
Honestly, I thought that ever since Matt Smith took the role, the show's gone a bit downhill. Not because of Matt, I love Matt. More, I think, because of Moffat. While I love him and I think his writing is, mostly, fantastic, sometimes he breaks his own rules and what he does doesn't make sense. Also, I felt that the Doctor just became silly and a bit immature, and personally, I didn't like it. So I'm very excited for Capaldi, I think he'll be great. I heard that Moffat said that the new Doctor is going to be darker and less reliable, so I'm super excited.
Interesting thing about Capaldi, though. He was in 'World War Z', ok? And he played a doctor from the World Health Organization. His credit reads 'W.H.O. Doctor'
Who's your favorite Doctor?

I know! World War Z was great haha. But it's just the tiniest but annoying as Capaldi was in the Roman episode. Does this mean that the Doctor takes the images of real humans for his regeneration???
Like a lot of people, Tennant is my favourite. He's just so fantastic.
What are your favourite episodes? Mine would have to be Tooth and Claw, The Girl In The Fireplace, The Empty Child, The Big Bang and The Angels Take Manhattan. Manhattan was especially sad, seeing as Amy is probably my favourite companion. But it was also so beautiful, and the 'you've read/seen it happen so it has to' was made a point of. Although, I reckon that's been broken loads of times. The Doctor read his own grave, but I think that instance in time has been come tell wiped out, given that he saved Christmas Town.
Gods, on that episode I thought Amy would come back, as the rift seemed to follow her.
All we got was a projection.

I haven't actually seen World War Z yet, thought I've been meaning to. It does pose a lot of questions. I heard that Moffat said something along the line of Capaldi's previous appearance wasn't just going to be ignored, so I don't know what he's planning on doing...
Tennant is so amazing. I adore him so very very much.
Favorites? Hmmmm. Blink, I think it is amazing and Sally Sparrow would have been an amazing companion. Girl in the Fireplace, yes. The Idiot's Lantern, The Shakespeare Code, and Vincent and the Doctor. Those are probably my top episodes.
I did like Amy, but my favorite companions are Rose and Donna.
I know! I was like 'This is it! Come on Pond!' But no. The special was nothing but feels.

Exactly why I'm never watching it again. XD
I did love Donna too, she was so sassy and funny. I reckon her ending was the worst out of all of them, how she had to forget everything and go back to her old boring life. Her Grandpa was wonderful, though, he's one of my favourite guy characters.

I know, her ending broke my heart because she went back to feeling unimportant like she did before and I love her so much I just want her to be happy the poor angel my baby. Hahahahaha, yes Wilfred is just the best! I love how he watch for the Doctor once Donna lost her memory. He was fantastic. I liked Martha's exit too, because it was her choice and she was strong enough to realize that she needed out. I don't know, I just really liked it.

Oh yes! Martha Martha Martha... if it was me I would've just stayed in TARDIS and hung around the Doctor like a love sick puppy. ;)
And I've got a question for you. This has sort of puzzled me. But with the Christmas special, Clara's parents were at dinner.
I thought her parents were dead? Or was that a 'different' Clara?
