Do you follow politics? Do you like to talk about politics?
I like to pay attention to politics, but I usually shy away from discussing politics because people get so emotional and defensive.

I follow it somewhat, but it is hard because people get too emotional about it.

I think that it is important to know what is happening around you, how it will effect you, and how you can influence your surroundings.
I only wish they'd count our votes.

To some degree, I do follow politics..
don't like when they disagree on matters that

Paula Poundstone says she follows politics because it's important to know where
they are. So she can avoid them. The Congress and Senate Of the US are the most
objectionable group of people since the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. If we had
caught one of the slant eyed runts who ran their zeros into our battleships, we would
have beaten him until the sun stopped shining, until God died, until Roger Clemens told the truth, until I stopped eating hot dogs AND until I stopped loving my country. The
Congress and Senate have done everything they can to turn Americans against America. But that will never happen. If I had a signed note from God that said I could
tar and feather my US Senator until flamingos fly.( Without retribution), he'd be boiling in oil right now. Do I follow politics? Just enough to know where they are. I never know
when I mihjt be getting that signed note from God.

Not really, I feel like there's never anything nice to hear in the world. Flip on the news, it's all sad! People fighting, people starving, people freezing, people dying, and the saddest part is that you can't really tell who's being honest or not :s
