2011 - New Year Resolutions

Post by Fran »

Well we're nearly there so I though I'd start the ball rolling ... they won't survive the end of Jan probably but we can but try:

1. Don't add to my TBR pile until I have it reduced somewhat
2. Only buy a new book when I have one given to Oxfam
3. Do a major declutter of house
4. Get more fresh air & exercise

1 = Impossible
2 = Difficult
3 = Unlikely
4 = Optomistic

I am going to, hopefully:

1. Walk to work more often- its only a 20 minute walk away
2. Be more sensible with my money and cut back on impulse buys
3. Not add to my TBR list. (hmm, thats gonna be tough)
4. Eat more vegetables
5. See more of America.

1. I ban myself from the bookstores. I have enough to read for a year.
2. Get pretty.
3. Defend thesis.
4. Find work.

1... Imposibble.
2... Difficult.
3... Indispensable.
4... Difficult but possible.

1. Change my schedule (up and at 'ems by 9am no matter when I go to sleep, I go to sleep late/early morn. 4-6am is common...)
2. Start taking my dog out more, the poor thing.
3. Get my Netflix instant queue list to maybe say 13 instead of 90 as it currently is...
4. JOB!
5. Kick my homework's butt.
6. Motorcycle license.
7. Buy more books haha, and more pictures...

What's fun is that anything I try to do on this list, directly ties in to my schedule...
I have no motivation getting up and though I'll be awake by 9am (I don't actually sleep much at all) I won't get out of bed until 1pm!
And I don't need the motivation to exercise or work, or walk Laikos, it's just if I'm up in the morning then I'll automatically do these other things. So really my resolution is just to change my schedule haha.
I have one of those super annoying alarm clocks with the bells on it, so I'm going to set it and stick it across the room so I have no choice but to get up. And annoy my brother in the meantime since he runs the same he he he...

1. Finish school
2. Get new job (once I finish school)
3. Do not collect anymore pets
4. Try to knock out at least 10 of my TBR list without adding anymore

With your accident record I'm very concerned you might actually succeed with that original resolution ha ha
