Titanic vs Avatar

Post by Simonmathew »

Both are speechless movies. Now the news is Titanic is going to be released in 3-D. James Cameron makes confusion. Which one is going to be superior. What is your thinking?

Didn't see Avatar and I didn't think Titanic was such a great movie. I'm probably the only one but whatever I just didn't get into it.

Wow, I'm not the only one who didn't see Avatar! I though I'm the last person on Earth

I was forced to watch Avatar with my boyfriend and i was least impressed by it, of course the animation was amazing however they seem to have spent so much time on that that they lacked story line.... its just another Pocahontas/fern gully. Not that they weren't brilliant movies. I just thought for all the hype going around for Avatar the storyline would have been alot more origional.

Thought Avatar was a very impressive 3-D movie but the basic plot was pure B-movie nonsense and if it were not for the effects the movie would have bombed.

Titanic? Also a great movie but Leo looked like a 12yr old boy so that didnt really look right with the whole romance storyline.

I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of either of those movies. I felt the acting to be way over the top in Titanic (please feel free to disagree) and Avatar was just way too similar to Dances with wolves except set on an alien world (also I felt the ending was extremely predictable).

I haven't seen Avatar, either. And, as I recall, I saw Titanic shortly after I had my son, and I started sobbing when the Irish mom is telling her kids a bedtime story 'cause she knows they're locked in and they're all gonna die......or maybe I dreamed that part--I wasn't getting a whole lot of sleep at the time... Anyway, that's pretty much all I remember of Titanic, and that may be a false memory.
"What does this have to do with anything, Tral?"
Um. Nothing. I can't sleep.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

I was little disappointed in Avatar. I'll have to go with Titanic.

Seriously? They're going to make a 3D version of Titanic? OMG. If this is really true then I'm looking forward to watch it because that movie is my all time favorite.

Titanic was a pretty good movie, The soundtrack was good and its a decent love story.
Avatar, as mentioned earlier, is a movie that is supposed to be good for its effects not its storyline. not my kind of movie.
