NEVER ignore teeth problems!

I learned a valuable and sadly expensive lesson today! Two weeks ago i was getting a dull ache in my jaw and it got worse as time went on. Over the weekend it was getting very painful so i saw the dentist today and it turns out i should have gotten my teeth cleaned more regularly as i now need 4 fillings, an extensive cleaning and the infected tooth (which was causing the pain) removed, bringing it to quite a price!
I kinda knew, deep down, my teeth werent in the best shape but i did the stupid thing and ignored it and before today the last time i was in the dentist was 2004 so i know its my fault but i guess it could have been worse, i only lose one tooth, the severe pain will die down with the painkillers he prescribed and over the next few weeks the problems will be fixed.
So to everyone i say, if you have even the hint of dental problems, get yourself down to that dentist !

Youre absolutely right about that. I also learned my lesson the hard way. I almost died from a tooth infection in 1999. They had to cut open my neck to get the infection out, I was in the hospital for a week and I wasnt able to go back to work for a week after that. So take care of your teeth, or you could have some serious problems.

Seeing this is a teeth post I want people to know and maybe someone can tell me what it means to have this dream. I always have this dream where all my teeth are falling out. It is a horrible nightmare and always wakes me up. Normally I am talking and they just start falling out. The dream is very vivid and realistic.

As far as I know teeth falling out in a dream means death, different teeth for different family members
As for the original topic of the post, it's all obvious to me

I even go to the dentist when there's no problem at all, just to check.

I was going to say something similar, my teeth come out at night but they are on the night-stand beside the bed. I dont think anyone in my family has died because of it.

I know just how you feel Mike. I haven't been to the dentist since I was like 14 because we didn't and still don't have any insurance. I've always been very stubborn and hated brushing my teeth cause it hurts so I just don't do it. Now all my teeth are disgusting. I hate them! I have to keep mints on hand cuz I just cain't get rid of the bad breath and even though I love to smile and laugh I try not to too much in public because I feel embarassed something terrible. Sometimes I wonder if I was single if I could ever get another boyfriend cuz if I was some guy I wouldn't wanna kiss me. I don't know how Jake does it, poor guy.

Thanks for the reminder. I ought to have a dental check-up next week. No matter how much I brush daily, the yellowish taint in my teeth won't go away
