I hear they put a white tent up at the hotel Kate is at to get her from the door to her vehicle so no one will see the wedding dress.Fran wrote:Yea love an old wedding - have to see the outfits but I doubt I'll watch the whole thing. I wish them luck & hope the day is nice for them & that it works out better than the Charles & Di combo.

The monarchy is pretty much built on tradition. Their traditions go back generations, to a time when the world was nothing like it is now. Even if WE view it as outdated or prudish or whatever, THEY view it was preserving their history and culture. Really, in my opinion, the wedding is for the guests. The honeymoon and marriage are for the couple. I'm sure they'll squeeze their big ole sloppy kiss in there somewhere!Teesie wrote:I'm just surprised about all the stuff they can't do because it's a "Royal" wedding. I heard that Cathryn can't throw the boquet and that technically it against protocol (spelling) for William to kiss his bride. Not sure if it's all true, but I just don't consider it a wedding if they ain't a big ole sloppy kiss involved.

Their Queen looks might for 85 but I feel very sorry for those poor little kids imagine they have to sit still & behave through all this ... and one is only a 3yr old. Poor thing must be itching for a good run down that aisle.

What a bunch of buttholes. This wedding is not compulsory, it's just stupid normal wedding, three year olds can't sit and behave, they are meant to have fun and learn not be all high and mighty... and... British!Fran wrote:If you're part of the British Royal Family I guess it is.Butterbescotch wrote: poor little kids imagine they have to sit still & behave through all this ... and one is only a 3yr old.
