In the US the television news stations are ablaze with royal wedding fever and I must admit I will be waking early tomorrow morning (06:00) to watch the wedding. I remember seeing Charles and Diana's when I was a young one. Anyone else have any interest?

Yea love an old wedding - have to see the outfits but I doubt I'll watch the whole thing. I wish them luck & hope the day is nice for them & that it works out better than the Charles & Di combo.

I'm leaving for a long weekend tomorrow so I probably won't see it.

I think they are making too big of a deal out of it. Its nice they are getting married and all, and I hope they make a go of it but think of all that money thats being spent, especially the publicity and and all that when there are more important things that all that money could be spent on.

I hear they put a white tent up at the hotel Kate is at to get her from the door to her vehicle so no one will see the wedding dress.

As for the money their spending it's not my country's money. *shrug*

I've lived in the other side of the world. Can you explain what is this Royal Wedding? I have been hearing about it. I want to read it at google search but my eyes are weary <_<

The monarchy is pretty much built on tradition. Their traditions go back generations, to a time when the world was nothing like it is now. Even if WE view it as outdated or prudish or whatever, THEY view it was preserving their history and culture. Really, in my opinion, the wedding is for the guests. The honeymoon and marriage are for the couple. I'm sure they'll squeeze their big ole sloppy kiss in there somewhere!

I think it's kind cool.

Ah tis a grand bit of pomp and ceremony ... reckon a way better view on the telly than the guests get though (unless you're in the front row of course).
Their Queen looks might for 85 but I feel very sorry for those poor little kids imagine they have to sit still & behave through all this ... and one is only a 3yr old. Poor thing must be itching for a good run down that aisle.

What a bunch of buttholes. This wedding is not compulsory, it's just stupid normal wedding, three year olds can't sit and behave, they are meant to have fun and learn not be all high and mighty... and... British!
