Sounds good!

Granted, but it always does a horrible job.

I wish I had some crispy fries right now.

Granted, but the fries are soggy and foul-smelling.

I wish to get out of this horrible reading slump.

I wish to have infinite wishes...

Granted ...

... but your painting is confined to the interior structural walls, doorframes, and window frames of houses.

I wish I had a pet.

But your pet dies the day after you get one (by disease or other natural causes).

I wish I could teleport to the places I want to go to.

Granted, but when you arrive you find that your feet are frozen to the ground.

I wish my dead pet to be brought back to life.

Granted, but you'll be the one having a disease that will kill you slowly day after day.

I wish to be immortal.

Granted, but you will have to live alone forever on Earth after a comet has struck and killed all animal and plant life.

Granted, but in return, you get teleported to a place of nothingness.

I wish to be extremely lucky in everything.
