Was there any movie changed your perspective about life?

The Outsiders,
even though it was a long time ago, the film made me appreciate what I have at the moment. Those kids only have themselves, getting into trouble and battling with other gang members.
It'd be a hard life for them..

OMG the best movie ever, will um next to Grease. I love The Outsiders, read the book at least 50 times and watched the movie, well probably even more...
Both of those movies influenced my life.

I dont think any movie ever changed my life, but some movies make a person think. Movies like The Grapes of Wrath, Sounder, and that one about Woody Guthrie, I forget the name of it, it had David Carridine in it. Seeing shows like that makes me think how easy we have it now compared to the way things were during the great depression. I can remember my dad telling me one time him and my grampa walked about 10 miles to get two 50 lb. bags of beans they were giving away, and the road back home was uphill. I walked the same road home from school a few times when the buses were on strike and it about wore me out, just carrying a couple school books. None of us soft spoiled Americans could do it now.

The first movie which springs to mind is "Educating Rita" with Michael Caine as a grumpy English professor and Julie Walters as a mature age student. Rita struggles with life and even though her brutish husband burns her books she still wants to finish her education. It helped me at the time.

Good call Fran. I have posted it somewhere before. That scene with the little girl is an amazing moment in cinema history. "Schindler's List" did not change my life but it opened my eyes to how cruel and savage man can be to his fellow man. I pray for world peace and the day when we all get along, all the while knowing it will never come.

I guess that the movie which changed my life was the Secret.
At last I know what I have to do and how to behave myself to live happily and longer!
