There are many environmental standards in Australia. They range from the safety of water, chemicals, recycling and building to clean air, health, transport and ecotourism. There are also environmental standards on the disposal of household waste through to solar energy usage. I would suggest checking your local Government website.

I work in the industry, environmental testing, in what regards are you looking for standards.

"An environmental standard is a policy guideline that regulates the effect of human activity upon the environment. Standards may specify a desired state"

I can tell you some of the very confusing testing standards we have here in New Jersey but unless they apply to you or what you're doing they will make very little sense.
