Putting summary in the review?

Hi, I am writing my first review and I am having a lot of trouble.
I wrote it 4 times already and every time the editors find something new that wasn't mentioned before. In the first version, I included something about the plot of the book and then wrote it was a spoiler so I deleted that. Now this editor is asking for a summary of the book. But if I put it again I will get rejected again for spoilers.
What would you do in my place?

I normally write a paragraph about what the book is about. I might mention the main character, the setting and some info about the story. I don't say what happens as the story progresses. If there's anything I don't think the reader would want to know beforehand I don't mention it.

I mentioned the basics but they said it revealed too much. It kinda confusing one editor says one thing and another a different thing.

It is not in the guidelines anymore that you must submit a summary of the book. It is always nice when there is a summary to tell the reader what the story is about, but they have omitted that from the guidelines. I would request a recheck and tell the editor that it is not necessary for you to do so.
