I literally/figuratively can't!

Some grammar rules (and embarrassing mistakes!) transcend the uniqueness of different regions and style guides. This new International Grammar section by OnlineBookClub.org ultimately identifies those rules thus providing a simple, flexible rule-set, respecting the differences between regions and style guides. You can feel free to ask general questions about spelling and grammar. You can also provide example sentences for other members to proofread and inform you of any grammar mistakes.

I had no idea that 'nauseous' had become to mean 'nauseated'. I am not keen on that change.

Yet another topic that is also near and dear to my heart! I am quickly becoming a fan of the grammar section of the forums.

I agree with you on this point. As humans interact and technology allows for a global society, there will be continued change in language. Dead languages are the only ones to remain static. That is why Latin is used in classification and scientific naming of organisms. Since no societies are actively speaking the language it is no longer subject to change.

I don’t like this change since it is based from misinformation and misuse.

It would be like if people started accepting their in use of there.
