Is the word "Hellscape" a profane word?

I came across "that blackened hellscape of a planet" in a book. I'm wondering whether it's borderline profanity.

Thanks a lot. I left it after checking multiple sources online. It's just a descriptive word.

I would say yes, as it may refer to "hell" in the biblical sense. Although, there is also Helena, Montana; Helsinki, Finland; Helen of Troy (The Iliad; Hellenistic schools of thought and more up to date, I worked in a factory type setting and less that a year ago I overheard one guy mention "We're back in hell again." But, yes, it is likely still considered profanity probably because it has a really bad and negative connotation in certain circles.
