Question About Using The Word "To"

Post by Kaitlyn Canedy »

Hello there,

I just want to check to see if this sentence is correct. I was not sure if I needed to add "to" after "likely." If I could get a resource for this rule (if it does exist), I would be greatly appreciative of it.

"The students would likely benefit from studying their textbooks."
"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant, it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.”- Mewtwo
