This incident placed a heavy responsibility on Agatha because she was the only heiress of the Kingdom.
Is there a grammatical error or not in this word?

I think the issue may be with the capitalization of "Kingdom." Unless there is some other reason in the context around this sentence, "kingdom" is a common noun and should not be capitalized.

Your observation makes a lot of sense to me now. I also could't see any grammatical mistake in the sentence.
