This new International Grammar section by OnlineBookClub.org ultimately identifies those rules thus providing a simple, flexible rule-set, respecting the differences between regions and style guides. You can feel free to ask general questions about spelling and grammar. You can also provide example sentences for other members to proofread and inform you of any grammar mistakes.

Grammar Check

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if the following sentence is grammatically correct:
"Amanda comes to first and immediately starts gasping for air and coughing."

Could one of you kindly clarify this for me?

Much thanks! Have a great day!

Hi,

I do not see anything grammatically incorrect about that sentence.

I think you need to use comma. After air. Because "coughing" is not an independent here.
