Hello,
I had a doubt regarding the following sentence and was wondering if anyone could help me out?

“And he’s going to need valium Q fifteen minutes.”

I was wondering if “Q” here actually means something or if it’s an error. Could someone kindly clarify the same?

Thanks in advance!

I think Valium Q is the name of a chemical compound

Hi, I tried googling the same. The results that showed up don’t mention “Q” after Valium so I’m guessing it is just Valium. Thank you for taking the time to reply, though! Much appreciated

It is correct, because " Q fifteen" is a trade mark. So "Q" is the proper name- not a mistake.
