Hi, I just want to confirm whether the punctuations in this sentence are correct.

Why Can’t Johnny Just Quit?, by Kyle Oh, takes you on a journey to grasp the reality behind addiction.

Are the commas after added correctly? If someone could also give me the reason in grammatical terms, I'd appreciate it.

The sentence is fine with or without commas. It depends on whether the phrase "by Kyle Oh" is considered essential to the meaning of the sentence or not. The comma may look weird right after the quotation mark, but that is ok because the quotation mark is part of the title.

Thank you. I knew that the comma after the question mark was correct, but I wasn't sure if putting the author's name between commas would be correct since I felt that it is essential information.
Thank you for the explanation and links.
