a comma question

Hi,
do you think the comma use here is wrong? the one before so as.

If it were for me, I wouldn't have chosen this cover photo and title, so as not to give the wrong impression about the novel to people like me.

Do not use a comma before "so" or "so that" when meaning "in order that" or "with the result that" (to introduce a reason or explanation).
