I've found a comma splice in the book, and I don't know if it counts as an error. The sentence: The people could call upon Mother Isis all they wanted, she was no help.
Thank you!
Maybe not an error. It feels they're standalone sentences but the comma gives She more meaning.

The people could call upon Mother Isis all they wanted; she was no help.
The people could call upon Mother Isis all they wanted. She was no help.
The original sentence feels correct.
