That & This

Some grammar rules (and embarrassing mistakes!) transcend the uniqueness of different regions and style guides. This new International Grammar section by OnlineBookClub.org ultimately identifies those rules thus providing a simple, flexible rule-set, respecting the differences between regions and style guides. You can feel free to ask general questions about spelling and grammar. You can also provide example sentences for other members to proofread and inform you of any grammar mistakes.

That & This

We use "this" to demonstrate something near which is in a singular form. And we use "that" which is in a singular form but far away.
E.g., This is a chair. - >
That is a chair. - >>>>>

You know what my pet peeve is? When someone says, "these ones" or "those ones". They even say it on tv. It's either "these" or "those" period!

Grammar is really our the window lately. Someone would not care to mind saying to you "This that" while referring to something . Too hilarious
