Does anyone know of a really good grammar and spell checker that I can use

Some grammar rules (and embarrassing mistakes!) transcend the uniqueness of different regions and style guides. This new International Grammar section by OnlineBookClub.org ultimately identifies those rules thus providing a simple, flexible rule-set, respecting the differences between regions and style guides. You can feel free to ask general questions about spelling and grammar. You can also provide example sentences for other members to proofread and inform you of any grammar mistakes.

I'd still recommend a human editor even after using all those. There's more to editing than just the spellings and style. A human editor can look at the work's development and even compare that with what the target market is expecting to read.

The key to writing good and error-free sentences is to rewrite the sentences to a more simple way.

Learning from my own mistakes made in my first review I would suggest the use of multiple tools. Reading the text out loud, using Grammarly and at least one other spellchecker like Sribens are tools that likely will decrease the possible errors.

Nice tips. I have used Grammarly as well and it is good. You can also try ProWritingAid.com however, the free version only checks the first 500 words. Purdue Owl is a great resource. I definitely need to read up on my grammar rules. It is a major downfall in my reviews. 😔 Grateful for the suggestions in these forums.

Grammaly is the most used one. And I recommend it as well. but I also use Microsoft Word as well, it does help a lot when necessary.

Everybody speaks so highly if Grammarly and yes, it is good. I can also testify to that

I have only written a few reviews and my score started off fairly reasonably. It was suggested that I use a grammar checker, which I did for my last review and got my lowest score ever! What do other people use please? I feel that I did better under my own steam!
