What is a Mey Gun?

Anyone know what a Mey Gun is? I’ve come across one in ‘The Wall’ and can’t find a definition.

I have no idea, but it might be a play on the name Megan. Would such an explanation dovetail in any way with how the term is used in 'The Wall'?

Thank you, but I don’t think it would fit. The gun belongs to a hulking guy who likes killing people and demons. But perhaps there will be a personal reason for the name which I will come across later in the book.

I've come across the same use of mey gun in The Wall. I've looked online and found no results.

I don’t have the book anymore. As it’a scifi, it’s probably a made-up name.

I came across it as well. After a bit of research I've come to the conclusion that it's probably a typo and meant to say 'meu gun' which is a type of pistol. I should note, I haven't finished the book yet, so it is possible it could still be a personal name given by the owner.

Ah, I’d never heard of a meu gun, but that sounds like a good theory.
