Grammarly: How Does It Work?

Some grammar rules (and embarrassing mistakes!) transcend the uniqueness of different regions and style guides. This new International Grammar section by OnlineBookClub.org ultimately identifies those rules thus providing a simple, flexible rule-set, respecting the differences between regions and style guides. You can feel free to ask general questions about spelling and grammar. You can also provide example sentences for other members to proofread and inform you of any grammar mistakes.

I use the app. I have downloaded it on my phone. I usually write a word document without using it first. Then I enable its keyboard and go to the document. When I type one word, it analyses the whole document and shows errors.

Okay, sorry for the troubles you had.
You can simply download the app for windows and sign up for the basic plan which is free. You may find it limited in regards some areas like getting a professional to proofread your work or checking for plagiarism, but it would really check errors that have to do with spellings, tenses, concord, etc. Take note that it is still far from being perfect as you may discover some errors even after using it.
I hope this is helpful.

You can add the Grammarly Chrome extension to your browser.

That's what I did.

Then when I want to check my work, I compose a new email and paste my text. Grammarly checks that for me. Once done, I copy the corrected work and paste it back into my Word document. Or send it if it was an actual email.

I find that easier than logging into the account and working from there.

I hope this helps!

Grammarly can be used as an add-on for Chrome, just search and add it to Chrome, then it's auto-activated. But you will need to have either Google or Facebook account logged in to see more corrections. Of course, it's not like it's perfect.

Grammarchecker.net uses Grammarly for its AI in checking if you want to avoid downloading anything.
I use LanguageTool and paid $56 for the premium version. It has a picky editor that will offer synonyms, flag passive sentences, and offer style suggestions. I still use Natural Reader afterwards to listen to my review. If it sounds unnatural, then I revise the sentence.

Thank you for your recommendations for Language Tool and Natural Reader. I'll check them out.

As to how it works if you want it to go all over the internet, Check the google button when signing up. Then it follows you wherever you go. It appears as a green or red circular
That's true about Grammarly. However they mark all the typos much better than Word does - you don't need to have the premium version of Grammarly to check typos anyway.

Grammarlly is fine; but it has not been saving me from grammar miatakes on review. I do not think we can relly on it fully. We should also use some other tools with it.
