What a shock! The plot appears to be rather intriguing. This is a book that I will undoubtedly read. Wives scheming against their husbands may sound nasty, but I'm captivated. Congratulations on winning #BOTD!

This is an interesting book i’ll love to read. Excessive love for money can make people do bad things to the point of plotting murder. I’ll add this book to my reading list. Thank you for the review

"The Wicked Wives" by Gus Pelagatti. A very interesting historical fiction story that talks about the wicked wives that killed their husband. Not only that, but having an affair with Giorgio the tailor. The mother inlaw, being wise suspected it could be a murder case and not Pneumonia. Congrats on BOTD.

The way the author was inspired to write up a fiction based on discussions he eavesdropped on is overwhelming. Review sounds amazing and definitely a book I would like to get into!

Thank you for the fantastic review! The title of this book alone already draws the reader to the happenings in the book, it's all about husband's awful and dreadful encounter with their wives. I am thinking this book will attract more men because they will be curious to know what the wicked wives did.

I enjoy true crime stories and this book has really piqued my interest. The blurb of the book made me curious, but your review really pushed me into wanting to read this book. I like the variety of "characters" the author gives so this sounds like this book will be an engaging read. Thank you!

I don't know which baffled me the most
To think wives murdered their husbands for their debts or that it's a true-life story.
This book would be a good read

I agree with you, the author could have done better with the book's title. However, this would be an exciting book to read, though am not a fan of fiction novels. Thanks for the review.

Everything that is based on true stories is, in my opinion, very interesting. This book seems exciting and intriguing. THe author managed to weave so many characters into one smooth plot describing the murders of husbands and sharing the women's stories, probably trying to explain why they did such a thing. It will be interesting to read the story. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Intriguing, captivating and down right wicked. To think that the book is based on true stories is chilling to say the least. The author brings out the witty, craftiness, and desperation in the lives of these women that leads them to act so wickedly towards their husbands. A chilling thriller but quite an interesting read.
