Money is acts as a force that nothing can contend with in today’s world, or maybe it has always been so. It’s no surprise that wives would murder their husbands just to get their hands on insurance money. I hope they all got to face the law and paid in full for their crimes.

I like the way an author of this historical fiction book described each woman’s backstory in detail, so that we can understand their motives. Also while money is the driving force, each of the women has specific problems. For example, Eva had a gambling problem and owed a lot of money to a mob bookie. In addition, most of the women are having an affair with Giorgio and some are even in love with him...nice review at all...

I read six chapters of the sample book in one hour. Excellent theme, excellent storyline, almost too entertaining to be true. I agree with the reviewer that the book deserves a much more captivating title. Good review.

Now it sounds interesting to read about a conspiracy to murder some husband for an insurance, especially when it is coming from the West. I know their tastes to be that or romance, crime thrillers, Sci-Fi and so on. This proves that there is another side to the narratives. Kudos.

'Official Review: The Wicked Wives' by Gus Pelagatti has a potent and appealing introduction! The point that the readers would experience dirty politics, which the city of Philadelphia has had a long reputation for, bribery, and prejudice against Jews, blacks, and Italians in the story is worth mentioning in the review! Also, the point that the historical fiction novel is based on a true story that took place in the late 1930s, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers! I find the review positive and informative! Nice to learn that the readers would love every minute of this riveting story!

Amazing the choices people make often and the reasons for which they make them too. This historical fiction is engrossing. I just wonder how the real life characters would have fared when this happened. Thanks for your review

The book sounds like one of those retro movies about old Hollywood. Interesting setting and unique storyline make me believe that this book will be very entertaining to read. Congratulations with BOTD are well deserved!

This sounds like a terrific potboiler, the Real Housewives of Philly with a lot of mayhem tossed in for excitement. Methinks I'll check it out. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

This looks like a book right up my alley. I would love to know why all the housewives were falling for Giorgio

The plot is interesting and intriguing and I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Rossi solved the mystery of the deaths and how he sought DiSipio and the husband’s wicked partners in their involvement in the deaths. Congrats!

According to its description, "The Wicked Wives" of Philadelphia is definitely an interesting novel based on a true story. My favorite type of fiction is crime. For a reader like me, tracking down these women and their partner in crime seems to be a real challenge. I appreciate the review's thoughtfulness and analysis. It is well-written.

I have never been more interested in a novel like I am in this one. I felt a deep feeling of curiosity when I read the title of the book in my mail.
Murdering your husband for money, wow! That's a lot. I doubt they ever had kids to put into consideration. And to think this book is nonfiction but based on true life events are all so fascinating. And this is definitely a point in supporting women's education and the right to personal finances as an idle mind works evil🤗🤗🤗.
I love this book and would want to know more.
Congratulations on your BOTD Gus.

Set in 1930 Philadelphia, today's BOTD is a historical fiction novel that follows four women and their tailor as they individually plot to kill their husbands. Readers who enjoy stories based on real events be ready! This is one that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish! Thank you for the wonderful review and keep up the amazing work! :-)
