Member of the Month Nominations
Members will be selected based on their contribution to the site, such as friendliness, helpfulness to both newer and older members and their overall approach to the site and its ongoing activity. However, we wish users to know that this is not a competition and all contributions are greatly appreciated and noted by everyone in the forum community.
To keep things fair, Moderators are not allowed to be a MOTM and all nominees are shortlisted by the Moderators themselves from a carefully selected list of each of the Moderators. The last MOTM is also allowed to vote for the next but their vote will not have any more significance than the others unless the Moderators are unable to decide. In which case, the MOTM will choose between the nominees already shortlisted.
It should also be noted that a member can only be MOTM once in a year so that everyone has an equal chance of being MOTM and there is no chance of favoritism. We hope you all welcome the opportunity to celebrate the forum community and give good cheer for the nominees.

Just one person the nomination ?
1) Fought a hungry bear or tiger with your bare hands.
2) Have previous experience as an astronaut.
3) Surfed the 2011 Japanese tsunami.
4) Climbed Mt. Everest.
5) Willingly used a toilet immediately after Donald Trump did.
6) Won an Olympic gold medal (or three silver medals).
7) Hugged an anaconda.
8 ) Read War and Peace in less than twenty minutes and passed a 20 question test on it.
9) Bribed Leo Tolstoy to share his crib sheet with you (see #8).
10) Worn a turkey carcass on your head for a month. (My personal favorite.)

Hmmmm. Humor helps but it is incisive intelligence which is the key such as the wisdom @Ant displayed with the following post way back in 2011.Gravy wrote:Or have a great sense of humor
