Stephen King reviewed William Hjortsberg Falling Angel. He said Falling Angel is

I have to say my favorite is the slow burn series. its loosely in the horror genre as it is a zombie/apocalyptic book. But Bobby Adair is an amazing author. I love that this series is not so much about the people surviving the apocalypse, but about people that have been bitten and are slowly changing into zombies. Hence the title Slow burn
