Wanna dance with you
Wanna sing with you
What if Martin Luther king was never killed
What if Gandhi’s hand touched yours’


What if John Lennon’s ghost sang a lullaby to you tonight
What if Nelson Mandela’s message carried across the land
Mother Teresa tucked you in tonight
And you sang just like you wanted to


Don’t tell me what I’m supposed to be
Because its not the life I choose to see
Don’t sing to me
I know my true heroes


Willing to sacrifice their lives
Willing to spread peace
For love
God help those who believe in


What if No world war was ever fought
What if aids never existed
Skin color was never given a second thought
If peace persisted
