DESPAIR (Tell me what you think of it)

Post by Myownperson »

Despair (An original composition)

Two balls glaring
Into the hard and shiny
Without rumble or their normal dribble

A scratching itch
Gnawing on the moon
Knocking away empty thoughts
The detail screams Reni

Flooded by stones and sour taste
Biting mercilessly in despair
Where cryptic emotions have
Spread their feet
Love is being made with failure
Languidly

Broken records in oblivion
Shouting words unheard
Limbo seems an easy escape
When shoulders burn
With loads of books

It stares at her
Tugs relentlessly
Ponders in a pensive mood
In its majestic return
She gives in
How foolish! Stupid vapid girl
Fails again to acknowledge
That it is broken
And that the scratches
At the cardboard have
Finally clawed out
Its brittle nature
And it is no more
The temptation licked and sucked
What she now has
Leaving her
Deserted and
Without a soul
