Crash And Burn

Post by AlexisReed »

This poem got me into college, also it was one of the poems published in a small book for local artist.and hope you guys can give me positive feedback and how you view this poem

The crashing and burning are the mear begining to her endless fight
Inside lies the bigger picture of a scared mental wound that lays heavy on her mind
Every breath draws her closer to that unforgiving sensation

PLEASURE

How can she be so foolish
To fall for the devil
He was so perfect masked in his

DISKIES

How was she so BLIND
Not to see past his broad shoulders
To see there was more to her than flesh and bones

DESIRE

How was she to be whole when
every step she took, he took more and more
Not undertanding she was only a

JOKE

Behind her brown eyes holds a bigger secert unwilling to unmask all her hurt
She runs from the things she fears the most
HER REFLECTION

embracing as her eyes she finds comfort in his
She's constantly smiling and joking
With every smile is the illusion to her fantasy world
See you would have thought she was the million dollar baby

SHE FOOLED YOU

She hides all her weary days behind those brown eyes
She lies behind smiles that hides all her broken dreams shattered by false hope
Imprissoned by belief and kept close for safe keeping

She was a junkie cuaght up in this crazy game we called life
Adficted and mesmerized by his

AROMA

Unable to unwedge herself from captivity of the beast
That swallowed her heart and left her for broke

Unforgiving is what lies dormant in her mind so every
So every time she's alone she thinks of the pain She endured
Thur those pleasurable unforging lies

HE TOLD

She whispers her secerts into the night
Hoping to be heard as she screams inside
Her fantasy fades to dark her desire was the victim
as the joke was on her

THE CRASHING THE BURINING WAS JUST THE BEGING TO HER END
