Not amazing because things get lost in translation, but sometimes we don't have a choice and the translation ends up being helpful. So I guess it depends.

I don't enjoy translated poetry. Part of the magic is deciphering the poem on your own. It gives a certain jolt of dopamine.

I prefer to read it in the language it was written in, I feel it is more poetic and true.
