Listening to the same song repeatedly

I played Clarity by Zedd for 72 hours straight when I was in middle school. I had it play when I was sleeping and listened to it any time my teachers allowed it as well as playing it the entire time I was home. I had to not listen to it for a couple of years before I could enjoy it again since it would get annoyingly stuck in my head.

I do, and sometimes it’s a problem I get really obsessed with a song or 3 and only listen Fl those for a week or 2 and then I’m sick of them.

Not 100 times in a row, but I've listened to 1 song on repeat for a 20-minute drive a few times before. It's happened a few times - West End Kids by New Politics was one I remember doing that with, Alice of the Upper Class by Halsey, definitely others that I can't remember now.

O yes, l do. I think that's what they call an 'earworm' when a song keeps playing over and over in your head. 'When I think of you' by Leif Garrett is definitely on my mind all the time. It was my teenage summer song, but has lived in my mind for many, many springs, autumns and winters.

I do play songs repeatedly when I cannot get enough of it. I really do not get bored listening repeatedly to any of my favourite songs. I like to think that it is my need for hearing it that is satisfied when I stop listening to it at that time.

Well ..playing the same repeatedly helps me het over certain emotions ...and helps me digest certain thoughts and ideas with the help of the frequency of the music ...for me music is not just about sound or lyrics ...but it goes deeper than that ...It's frequency...hence repeating a particular one ...changing it changes the work that would be happening right within myself.

When I like a song, I always find myself listening to it over and over again. First, I will pay attention to the lyrics and try to understand and relate to it. Then, I pay attention to the melody after many replays. Songs are poetry with music. It is another form of art.
