Uh-oh ... has Aretha Franklin been singing again? She had an incredible voice, but she ought to realize that it's now gone. She should just allow us to savour Respect and I Say a Little Prayer :)

I haven't heard Aretha's version, but it must be bad because a lot of people on Facebook have been talking about it. Gonna have to watch it on YouTube and see for myself.

Come on, now ... let us take a moment to consider the voice she used to have. Nobody could sing like Aretha. There were those who came close, but Aretha was the best. I'd like us to remember 'Respect', 'Ain't No Way' and 'Do Right Woman, Do Right Man' and try to put that atrocious album out of our minds :)

I hereby stand corrected in deference to my fellow poster...
,
But hey, this DIVA is one KWAYZEE B---H.................not a very nice person.... interestingly enough, she doesn't have a clue to what the meaning of the word " respect " really is..............

I don't think she's very nice either. She's SO arrogant. Does she not realize that "The Queen of Soul" is an honorary title we gave to her and not a divine right? That's probably why she still tries to sing like she could before and doesn't realize that she just can't do it anymore. Poor egotistical woman! :)

It's very sad, she must be very INSECURE to not realize her true " standing " in such a hierarchy of such considerable note...
