Firstly you should study some theory about how to write a verse or a poem.Only then you should start writing. Also you need to have a very good image of your poem in your head.

Or, when something pops into your head just write it all down immediately.

Sure, do some rhyming and such, make sense.

But there aren't rules to writing thoughts or feelings.

Sort it out after you get your initial thoughts out.
