Amature poetry

While I was walking to the library last weekend, I came up with a poem in my head. I'm not really sure if it follows the structural conventions of poetry, and the primary response to it has been (?). Could I please have some opinions on it?

Glory to Streudal

Streudal, Streudal we consume thee
inexspensive pontificate
will thee touch all turkey sandwiches
blessed be the airborne spoons of sheep
Watch as I strum The
Hamstrings of the sacred balogna
mitigate all repungent rugs
behold lint, essence of divine!

Creative.....but once I read 'strudel' all I could think about was food and lost the thread.....
