What kind of music do you listen to?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

I listen to all genres of music except country music. I'm afraid I've not been able to sync into that genre yet.

I grew up in the late 60s, 70s and 80s so I prefer the music from those times. I especially like classic melodic rock from the 80s. I also like soft rock, some Christian, and classical music.

I love music and my favorite really depends on the day or circumstance. I gravitate towards county and pop but truly love so many genres.

80s hair bands all the way! My all-time favorite group is Def Leppard, followed by KISS. I love other hair bands too, such as Poison, KIX, Ratt, Cinderella, and Warrant. This music has always spoken to me and just makes me feel happy listening to it.

I used to listen to any genre, I was never picky. I vibes with any song I thought was good. I was heavy on Hip hop/rap, Pop, and RnB. Things changed about 2 years ago when I became Christian and the more I gave my life to God the more secular music sounded distasteful. I got convicted from listening to secular music last year and now I don't listen to music at all. I occasionally play gospel music now and again but I spend most time listening to podcasts, video essays, or my thoughts :D

My vague answer to this is "everything but country". More specifically, though, alternative, rock, pop, and metal are definitely my top genres, in that order. I have a couple mood-specific playlists but I tend to just put my whole music library on shuffle.
