I like most everything except that rap crap. I like classic country and rock, old time jazz and vintage dance music, some classical and Celtic.

I think I saw that. It was good. Another good one they showed on PBS was Celtic Women. Great performers and music.

I love all kinds of genres of music! Rock, Alternative Rock, Pop, Classical, Indie! Some of my favorite bands are: 30 Seconds to Mars, Hurts, and My Chemical Romance.

Weird with some of us as we get older we go back to our faves from our teen years...by now it's "Classic Rock"...pfffffft
But from the old days The Band, Elton John, Lynyrd Skynyrd, BTO, Bob Seger, The Marshall Tucker Band, Jeff Beck...from the wayyy old days Sinatra, The Andrews Sisters and Count Basie and from nowadays Rhianna and Beyoncé are awesome, Alabama Shakes and Pink too 8)

Bossa Nova, ( all latin music )...Santana, Mariachis, Buena Vista Social Club...
Old Rock...CCR, The Doors, etc...............current singers, Love Adele!
French singers, Charles Trenet, Edith Piaf ..[ Je ne Regrette rien ]

Opera, classical, swing, [ Tommy Dorsey, Big Band Era ]...

I like that big band stuff too and Edith Piaf. Have you ever heard Josephene Baker? She sang in the same style as Edith.
We like a lot of the same stuff. The Doors, CCR, Maybe we are psychically connected. :lol:

YES, i've heard of her, she was dubbed " the first black super-star " very popular in France..............

Ask her if she's been to Washington state. Thats where my mom was from, and where I was born. Maybe they were long lost sisters or something. :lol: :lol:

Suzi thank you for mentioning Edith Piaf, reminds me of when I lived at home...my Dad played her a lot! :D Learned how to sing some of the songs phonetically, my French is an abomination

As a teen i love pop music. however i also like to listen to some country and classical(mostly because I am in orchestras myself so I have played some of the music).
