If you're going that route, go with some old Fear Before the March of Flames

FBTMOF is alright, their new stuff is disapointing though.

I'm into a ton of stuff like that though.

Feel I need to share my love of Amy Macdonald, the girl is amazing! She has a really unusual voice, a bit folksy but so talented

Both fab songs

Enjoy!

When I feel tired and stressed after a long busy work day I usually listen to Mozart and some new age music like this piece of Mar Lasar

Lately I've just been listening to jazz: Ornette Coleman, Sun Ra, Charles Mingus, Eric Dolphy, etc.

I mostly like indie artists- little known bands and the up-and-comers

check out these links:

www.myspace.com/lightsnoise ... it's that old navy musc!
www.myspace.com/raiskotchie

Also, I've been listening to Carrie Newcomer's The Geography of Light (I like folk, too) and I just discovered a little (now defunct) band called Brittle Stars... beautiful indie pop. You can check them out on itunes.

one man does it all for me... rock, folk, blues, etc... Jeff Buckley :)

My favorite song ever... "Lover, You Should've Come Over"

Looking out the door I see the rain fall upon the funeral mourners
Parading in a wake of sad relations as their shoes fill up with water
And maybe Im too young to keep good love from going wrong
But tonight youre on my mind so you never know

Every inch of me is full of pain,
Oh, You should've come over,
My broken bones can smell the rain,
And they're aching to recover,
And the rain,
I wanna come down fast like kisses on my skin.
But it passed me by,
And it left me dry
Lover you should've come over.

Broken down and hungry for your love With no way to feed it
Where are you tonight,
child you know how much I need you
Too young to hold on and too old to just break free and run

Too young to hold on,
And too old to break free and run,
Oh too old run.

Oh... Lover you should've come over,
Well I wait, And I burn,
Will I ever see your return,
Oh Lover you should've come over,

Lonely is the room, the bed is made, the open window lets the rain in
Burning in the corner is the only one who wants you with him
My body turns and yearns for sleep that will never come

Its never over, my kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder
Its never over, all my riches for her smiles when I slept so soft against her
Its never over, all my blood for the memories and the sweetness of her laughter
Its never over, shes the tear the hangs inside my soul forever

Well maybe Im just too young
To keep good love from going wrong

Oh... lover, you shouldve come over
cause its not too late

Will I wait, Will i Burn?
Will i ever see your return?

other music i usually stick with is usually folkish, with the exception of my craving for industrial. I guess high school sticks with you no matter how old you are.

i've been writing songs for four years and am currently recording, so this is something i do think about a lot.

i do like cat power, MIA, queens of the stone age (im a guitarist and homme plays very well), and anything of or inspired by soul or the delta blues. If any of you are interested in the blues I could send you reccommendations since i used to dj a blues hour and i have a lot of stuff.

One of my favourites, Tool's Right In Two--exceptional lyrics.
