Early 2000s R&b

One genre forever would be a rather tricky decision for me, especially considering that I am a huge music lover. However, I would choose Neo-Soul because it appeals to my love for the soulful ambiance that it sets with deep-heartfelt lyrics all wrapped together in dulcet tones.

I'm thinking hip hop or indie Rock. They incorporate all the other genres pretty effectively and so I'd still have a lot of diversity.

Copout answer says Pop, because it's everything at different times.

I would listen to blues for the rest of my life. Blues is on constantly replay in my soul and it never gets old. I think the genre is slowly dying out because most people don't understand or even know about it. This one time, I asked my friend if she liked blues and she didn't know what it was. I told her it was a music genre and she had never heard of it. I wasn't shocked. I figured there weren't many young people who knew the genre to begin with. I played a bit of my favorite blues songs for her and it was exciting trying to figure out what was going through her mind when she heard it. Afterwards, she told me that it was okay, but not her cup of tea. That's it? I asked her to be more specific. What didn't she like about it? She replied that it was simple and pretty repetitive. I laughed. It is simple. There are no effects, no synthesizers. And to be honest the older the blues, the more simple it gets. At the end of the day, it just comes down to the lyrics. Lyrics about how hard your day was and what you've been through. It's repetitive because life is full of repetition. It's repetitive because you say one thing and you say it again with more soul the next time. I didn't understand her feelings because I had grown up hearing the blues and it's everything to me.

That's a hard question, and a good one. Rock would cover most of the subgenres in music but if I have to get specific, I'm torn between blues and funk. Maybe I'll lean towards funk.

Really tough question, but I particularly like electronic dance music, yes, I do, and being the broad genre that it is, I think it could keep me satisfied forever.

If there is one genre of music I would listen to, it would be Christian or inspirational songs.

Although I enjoy all genre of music that sounds great, I think I’ll settle for Jazz.

That's a hard choice but it will have to be afro beats. Thankfully I don't have to choose. I love different artists from different genre. I would feel so sad not having to listen to them.

Old country music. It never gets old in the first place and is really full of inspiration.
