Good Choice. Orion did a killer version, too

I heard a cute and different one today, If I Ever get a Job Again Ill Buy Some Underwear by Dick Robertson. I laughed my butt off.

Jerome Kerns Till The Clouds Roll by by Ann Wheaton and James Herrod. Its kind of a hokey 1917 version by these two who sound like crap but if you ignore the horrible vocals its a beautiful song.

Bighuey wrote:I do too mostly, but I like a few of those type songs, especially the old country songs like Jimmie Rogers, Hank Williams, Hank Snow Tex Ritter and others from that era used to do. One of my favorites is The Dying Cowboy by Vernon Dalhart, he sings the original lyrics and melody and is a very moving song.

One I heard today was a cute song, Pink Elephants. I think it was by George Olson Orch. but not sure. About a guy who has a little too much to drink the night before. Pink elephants in the window, pink elephants on the wall, pink elephants in the bedroom, pink elephants in the hall and so on. Its still going through my head.

Hey - I think the Allan Parsons Project plagiarized the elephant song

As of today still too uncoordinated to learn The Cup Song

bought a Bob Seger CD at a garage sale for 75 cents and it plays great
it has Main Street
We've Got Tonight
and all the other amazing songs I remember

My parents had a nice collection of big band music and my sisters liked The Beatles
I like almost anything really
but this week is all about Bob.

Believe it's called "Domino" by Van Morrison, on the muzak at work but realize just about any tune he's ever done is awesome...it's like Steve Winwood, I love the guys with big voices :D

Lady Charlie-Definitely Bob Seger too, I'm from Joisey and Springsteen was on the rise as I grew up but always liked Seger more

Julie London, thats a blast from the past. She was one sexy lady. I always envied Jack Webb and Bobby Troup.
